Rural Iowa Crisis Center Mission Statement:
We offer safety and services to individuals and families who have been affected by domestic or sexual violence. We promote the concepts of equality, non-violence, empowerment and respect through advocacy,
education and social action as alternatives to aggression, control and domination.
Rural Iowa Crisis Center Vision Statement:
We provide our services in a supportive, non-judgmental and empowering atmosphere allowing individuals to make their own choices and decisions about their lives and circumstances while creating a non-violent world where everyone is safe and lives in harmony and respect for one another.
The Rural Iowa Crisis Center
serves victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence who are
residents of Adams, Clarke, Decatur, Ringgold, Taylor, and Union
Counties in Southwest Iowa. In addition to our main office in the city
of Creston in Union County. We offer Outreach Sites on the district
court service days in the following cities in each of the other three
counties we serve: Corning-Adams County: Mt. Ayr-Ringgold County:
Bedford-Taylor County.
